Once a little swan was hatched in a duck family.
He did not look like the others,
Neither belonged to them.
He was thought as ugly,
And was teased harshly.
So he fled to find his own mom,
And warm home,
Even it was a long dangerous journey.
He found what he belonged,
Turned as a beautiful swan.

When I was a child,
My parents teased me as an ugly duck.
It hurt me a lot but nobody noticed.
I wondered whether I was loved.
I worried if I was really abandoned.
But I hided the pain in confusion…

Only when I grew up,
I knew it was just a joke.
Seeing other parents teased their own children in the same way
When they are naughty or annoyed,
My wits come into end.
The joke is repeated,
The harm will never remedy.
Children are very naïve but also vulnerable，
Don’t let distrust grow,
Make its way of shadow.

Now I have my own child,
I will never make such joke.
I will never let him down,
And make him confuse.
Clothes him all the love,
Touch him by a sincere heart,
Build him his own confidence,
Let the trust flow though each other,
Cause every child has his beauty,
