VCD, SVCD and DVD Movie Making

1. Check your Camera to confirm it has "i.LINK? DV IN/OUT" Port
2. Buy (If you don't have) a firewire cable and firewire card if you are using PC/Windows
3. If you are using Windows XP, you can download and install Windows Movie Maker from Micsoft.com for free.
4. Open Windows Movie Maker to import you movie from Camera to your hard drive (Make sure your hard drive has enough space and CPU is super fast), 1 min high quality DV Movie takes about 200MB space. Then you can edit your movie by Movie Maker and export your movie for VCD/SVCD/DVD burning.
5. Get Roxio EASY CD & DVD CREATOR install on your computer, then import your movie which are exported from Movie Maker to make VCD/SVCD/DVD.
6. Play your VCD, SVCD and DVD movie by DVD player, watch it on TV.

*It's not so easy to make your first VCD/SVCD/DVD, it might take a very long time.
*Make sure your computer is super fast, otherwise it will be very very slow.
*You might have some other problems.

      安装一个叫做会声会影的台湾软件，很容易就可以把你录的东西存在电脑上，还可以用这个东西剪接。但是据说，如果dv和pc都支持usb2.0的话，效果还算可以，如果不是，画面效果就不太理想。另外还有一个方案会让数据采集的比较好，就是买一个1394卡，安装到电脑上，然后通过1394卡和DV连接，可以用adobe premiere或者会声会影都能采集和编辑。一般1394卡在华人店卖大概是20多块钱，不过质量就不太好，我一直都解决不了的问题，大概就是因为随卡赠送的firewire线质量不好。
