I can't get clear picture shooting in continus focus.

At the earlier time after I got the body, I shoot bird or some other small animals, but it looks like not clear enough, I doubt the nikon body can't catch the fast moving object, but it doesn't matter, because it is different as canon mark I series.
But yesterday when i took picure for a one-year old boy, he was crawling on the floor, it still can't get clear pics. Maybe the continous mode doesn't work all all?
( I set in "c" mode, and set continous serve mode at "multi point")

试过运动连续拍摄几次。头一两次完全失败，发现没有合焦。“C”本身不需要合焦提示就能按下快门，所以用C的起始聚焦点非常重要，我采用多次半按快门强制镜头动作，这时再按下快门就有成功的片子了。不过还是有失焦的。 -hilander(越野的红色); 2007-10-17 (#3995760@0)
