本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Dear Mrs. XXX,
Canadians take pride in our commitment to human rights issues, and we are willing to speaking up against injustice anywhere in the world. So we have a moral obligation to speak out on behalf of the injustice that has been perpetrated on "comfort women".
Canada has an admirable record of taking responsibility for past wrongs, such as the Chinese head tax reparation, and the Mahar Arar case. This gives victims closure, restores their dignity, and allows them to move on with their lives.
I support this motion urging the Japanese Diet to accept responsibility, and to issue a genuine apology which acknowledges the degradation and suffering of these so-called "comfort women".
sincerely,
XXX, MP

Dear MP:
As a citizen living in XXX/Mississauga, I strongly hope you can vote in favour of Motion 291.
I believe this Motion has nothing to do with hate. It is just necessary to remind the people all over the world, including ourself, do not do anything hurt the others like SOME OF THE JAPANNESS did in WWII.
This Motion is only about to blame a little part about what some of Japanness horribly did in Asia during WWII, which is opposite with our belief. We could send our soldiers out for our belief now and during WWII, why not for only a vote?
Looking forward to hearing the right voice from our Parliament.
Best regards,
