I am president of a Software Consulting Company, one of our employee (Canadian Citizen) submitted MCA (Master of Computer Applications) from India and (Master of Science) form India as his education qualification, based on the credentials and Toronto University educational evaluation document he submitted, we offered him Systems Analyst job and requested TN Visa, TN was issued at Canada Border Crossing.
In our internal credential verification process, we found MCA certificates candidate submitted are fabricated and University official signatures and seal were forged. To verify admission rules we contacted Andhra University, as per the rules
1. Age at the time of Master of Computer Applications Degree – Not Normal (They normally don’t admit students at age 30 in to Master of Computer Applications Course.)
2. Two master degrees from entirely different background education. (Agricultural and Computer Applications) – Not Normal (They don’t admit students from Agricultural background to Master of Computer Applications Course.)
To better represent the candidate and Immigration responsibilities we sent candidate credentials (Educational Degree Certificates, copies of Statement of Marks and his Provisional Pass Certificate) to the University to confirm that such a student had “studied” or “not studied” MCA (Master of Computer Applications).
We don't know what should be our action on this case after getting confirmation from the foreign University that this is document fraud. Company can terminate his employment and wash hands, but candidate will not leave the country (now 1 yr and future 3 yrs) and that leads the company not fulfilling the Immigration responsibilities.
The present TN Visa issuing process for foreign (except Canada and USA) education degree TN Visa candidates, based on Toronto University Educational evaluation is not working. Toronto University is comparing the presented credentials to some standards and giving certificate on candidate’s eligibility. Instead what we need is educational verification with the foreign University where candidate attended school to avoid these fraud cases. These fraudulent TN Visa candidates are causing Immigration issues burden on companies like us as we don’t know what branch of Federal Govt to approach to deal with the issue.
We submitted case details to:
U.S. Customs and Border Protection
Niagara Falls Station
P.O. Box 280
1708 Lafayette Avenue
Niagara Falls, NY 14305
As info submitted is public viewable, we are not giving case and company detail. But to avoid these fraud cases, verification with the foreign University where candidate attended the school is a must.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
