Does my wife and kid really need a TD visa if I got TN status?

After checking the USCIS website, they said my wife and kid do not need a TD visa.

See below:

Canadian citizen spouses and children do not need visas, but they must have the following documents at the port of entry:

Proof of Canadian citizenship;
Proof of relationship to the principal applicant, such as marriage certificate and birth certificate; and
Photocopies of entry documents of the principal applicant.

Does my wife and kid really need a TD visa if I got TN status?
Wthout TD visa, can they claim the tax in U.S?
Please help !!

true, they will get an I-94 card issued at the port of entry, stapled on their passports, indicating their TD status. bring the supporting documents when they across the border. -anthonyjiang(process guy); 2008-6-10 (#4494406@0)
