1. 50% applicants got refused without any words: according US imm. law, only if you have stayed in a place for more than 12 months, you can submit your applicaiton to local US consulate for visa, other than consulate in your original residency country; remember this also apply to new immigrants to Canada, theorically.
2. 30% applicants got refused after being asked "why you don't submit your appl. in your original country?"
3. 15% applicants got refused after checking the stuff submitted. in this case, if you are strong in oral battle, you have some chances to win (the officer is nice enough to even review your doc.)
4. 5% applicants got approved after checking the stuff submitted. this happens when: 1. a nice visa officer; 2.NOT in Toronto but other cosnulates in Canada, prefer Ottawa; 3. your Canadian situation is good (profession, income, educaiton..you lend your credit to your parents)

And remember, always, in case 4th, you owe the officer a favour. IT"S EXCEPTIONAL.

          象你爸妈来探亲的从去年6月到现在没有听说有人签出过美签. 老美就会问为什么不在中国签?不了解你的情况就拒了. 朋友的父母就是这样拒的. 态度超差.我是3月24号去签的,过了是因为有EMPLOYEE LETTER. 看到好几个被拒了,有旧护照的也要看的.
