最近发现BC省居然有珍贵的紫斑牡丹（关于这种牡丹的介绍在这http://www.rolia.net/f/post.php?f=0&b=30&c=3250&tno=597393&pno=5314950&）邮购, 而且全是中国的品种, 比较难得. 其网站是http://www.sunpeony.com/Home.htm。
在这个网站上有3大品种：紫斑牡丹，树牡丹和勺药。在这里，我想强烈推荐其紫斑牡丹，原因如下：

1。比起其他品种紫斑牡丹比较珍贵，在相同的价格下为什么不选他？
2。没见过在GTA有紫斑牡丹在花圃出售，日本牡丹和北美勺药就比较普遍。
3。源产地中國西北黃土高原，抗冷, 抗熱, 少病虫害且生长勢強，能在寒冷的BC省能成活，看来在GTA是应该没有问题的。
4。花型大，有香味，植株高大。
5。最重要一点是：中国品种。想一想, 在这里, 异国他乡, 即使是源至中国的树牡丹大都是日本品种, 现在，在有机会的条件下，我们是否应该推广他，让更多人认识一下这种独敖群雄，来自祖国的"花？

下面是来自这个网站的紫斑牡丹的贴图。

至于价格, 零售$27, 比起一般品种的树牡丹略贵, 邮费(1-3株express)$20, 但物有所值。后来跟和圆主联系后（info@sunpeony.com），他同意如果购20棵以上，可把价格降到$20，邮费另算。这样算起来价格十分超值，比花圃树牡丹的价格还便宜，所以团购是一种大家都省钱的方式。
我建议的具体操作是：由于最佳种植时间是8月份，所以还有时间请大家推荐2位信得过的网友，一位负责收钱，一位负责监督。七月下旬，大家聚一聚，交钱后写支票挂号寄出。express包裹到后，立即通知分发。如果还有什么好的方式清大家提个建议。

对了，请大家留意：1。种植后需等1-2年后才能开花（园主说的） 2。要留有足够的空间留给植株以后生长。

至于这个网站，只查到他是CPS(canadian peony society)的member，大家请看这里http://www.peony.ca/e_html/vendors.htm。

如果大家有兴趣的话，选完品种后请回复并提议和报一下希望order的数目。虽然是初报，希望大家严肃对待，认真思考后再回复，谢谢大家。

1. I have some rockii, tree, and herbaceous peonies that not posted on
web in my garden, but I don not sell them.
2. The rockii peonies I sell are 3 years old and will bloom 1 or 2
years after transplant them.
3. 4 peonies to Toronto the shipping fee is $20, express service you
will get it in 2 days.
4. 4x27+20=128CAD
5. You can pay by check before August. The best time for transplant
peonies is fall, I ship peonies from August.

1. August plant peonies are no problem in Toronto.
2. The best time to transplant peonies is fall. August or September is
good time. Let peonies have enough time to grow roots before winter, if too late it would be difficult to pass first winter.
3. It is better plant peonies in yard when receive them.
4. rockii peonies can not planted in pot. Rockii can grow as a big
tree few years later.
5. Full sun place, not clay soil, two times fertilizes one year, one
or two time water a week (not over water).

If you follow above, it would be no problem. I have growing peonies 10 years in Canada. Grow peonies is my hobby, I am not make a living by sale peonies.

1. The rockii peonies which I sale are from seeding.
2. I will dig out roots and never cut the leaves. You can get hole
plant without any damage. When dig peonies out, I packing them right away in peat moss and ship out. So, you can get health peonies.
3. $19 each if you order 40 peonies. Where to ship the 40 peonies?
Ship to different person or ship to you? Could you please tell me how to ship, the shipping fee depend on how to ship. I think it is better ship to different person, you can plant peonies right away.

1. 1~4 peonies shipping is $20 in any City of Canada.
2. 30 peonies the shipping fee is $100 to Toronto.10 peonies to
Mississauga the shipping fee is $40.
3. 40 peonies the shipping fee is $120.

Maybe the shipping fee little bit more than above, it depends on packing. I will cover it, if more than that.

实话实说, 以我3年种植嫁接牡丹的经验来说, 只要是保暖得好100% 是可以过冬的, 主要的问题是30~40%过完冬的会变很弱, 这也许跟上一年的种植有关. 举例,上一年我新种9棵, 到今年有3棵很弱, 估计跟我把他们种在喷水池旁有关. -cvgz(Philip); 2009-6-10 (#5331462@0)

提到，所以by default,一直以为其牡丹的定购是可以按他贴出的名字来选的，直到小草网友

提示后经查询才发现问题：只有芍药才能按名字来order，牡丹苗是混合的，是不能按名字来

order的, 也就是说你不知道order回来的是什么名字的牡丹。下面是园主回复的email原件：

peonies I sale them follow the names. So, please don?t tell people order by names

about rockii or tree peonies.

还有问他是否是直接种子培养的，他说是，我就觉得有点不对，怎么这么便宜？谢天谢地，我们还有cvgz和小草的谨慎，现在好了，他整一山寨的感觉，Anyway，谢谢cvgz的帖子，通过讨论，至少我们还是学到了很多，明白了什么是紫斑牡丹，再次谢谢cvgz。

刚查到：“播种繁殖是利用种子繁殖小苗，所得小苗为播种苗，又叫实生苗。由于播种苗变异大，后代不能保持母株的性状，生产中应用较少。播种繁殖一般仅限于杂交育种和培养嫁接砧木。“　所以他要么很专业，要么就是。。。 -cvgz(Philip); 2009-6-18 (#5353155@0)
