@BC

Deb Matthews, she is the Minister of Children and Youth Services. And if you have any comment or even complain about CAS, I think she is the best person to contact.

attached is the link to contact her.

  • 枫下茶话 / 社会 / is there a complain mechanism for CAS? like an Ombudsman office?
    • try this
      • so first step is a complaint in writing.... is anybody doing this, if we gonna complain at all? or everybody is busy engaged in saliva wars?
        • saliva war! I love it. I already email my MPP and I encourage everyone else to do the same.
          • why not same time just directly contact CAS? do we have a person in charge here for the complaint, or if you guys can get hold of the husband?
            • I asked my MPP to review CAS policy and procedure rather than on this specific case. Becuase until someone can provide objective evidence, I really don't see what CAS did wrong in this case.
              • +1
    • or this
    • or your MPP
    • In accordance with s68 of the Child and Family Service Act, you can file a complaint with the Child and Family Service Review Board at www.cfsrb.ca.
      • they fought their butts off but seem nobody volunteer to put the complaint in writing?
        • I don't know why a lot of Chinese on Rolia have such negative image on CAS. I know a few friends who had visits from CAS workers.
          All of them were referred from teachers at home. The CAS wokers were there to help, to educate the parents how to educate their children; discuss the potential legal issues of physical disciplines.

          Of course you may argue my friends were lucky that they had Chinese CAS workers who understand their culture.
