I am just curious why there is huge voice against CAS. Apart from your friendss or your friends' friends' story; can someone please bring up a real bad example of what CAS did to your children.

You may argue the following example is not appropraite. But if you have a car accident a month ago with me, and I strongly suggested you to go to see a doctor and you refused. You went online and asked for suggestion; someone suggested if you claim insurance then your premium would go higher, so you decided not to get medical support. And now, 1 month later, you have a heart attack. I wonder how big the chance that you can successfully sue me for damage.

Sample story here. After CAS tokk the kid away from the mother, the mother actually felt better when she learnt CAS was actually able to find doctor to take care her baby. And then someone from Rolia told her some terrible number about CAS. She got scared and CAS returned the baby to her husband. 1 month later, she commited suicide. And a lot of you accused that CAS was directly responsible for it. If you are able to find a doctor who is willing to be the expert witness to testify in the court to support your accuse; then there may still a small chance to sue CAS. Otherwise, you have to find a way to prove your point in court. So you can ask the doctor on Sunday if he is willing to help the family to testify in court.

                                  本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛I would not hestiate to support anyone who can show me real evidence and solid information that CAS has wrong doing. However, if it is just a rumor or imcompleted truth, then I feel it is everyone's responsiblity to stand up against it to avoid another disaster.

                                  A lof discussion is around how many kids were died under CAS control and it sounds very distressing. May I used an example to illustrate what can go wrong if we just look at the number without understanding the true meaning. If I tell you certain medical units in a hospital has mortality rate which is 200 times higher than general population. You may jump up and blame these medical units as a killing machine. But if I tell you one of these unit is intensive care unit and most patients that go to ICU are critically ill, then I wonder if you would still consider ICU a killing machine and don't bring your beloved one when he / she is critically ill.

                                  I don't know if CAS is doing at its best capacity or if there is any improvement within the organization. This is why I email my MPP or Minister of Children to investigate. I sincerely wish everyone do that same thing.

                                  And again, I would like everyone to think if tomorrow a kid is killed because the parents read our discussion about CAS and do not seek assistance from CAS. Can those who post negative review about CAS (and without try to confirm the source) sleep well. I can't sleep well if I am not doing my best to stop it happen again!
