    • I haven't used the F work for a long time but I would not hestiate to say it loud and clear if this is true!!! Did Miller know he works for Toronto residents not the union workers?
      • The end of the strike is good news to citizens of Toronto. But If that piece of news is really true, Torontonians have all been f..ked by unions and Miller.
        • I don't know about the rest of Torontonians. But I feel betrayed! After 35 days of strikes, this is what we have! I would scan my middle finger and email to Miller.
    • “The deal we reached we believe to be a fair deal,” Mr. Ferguson said. “It's a deal that we are proud of.” 这不是工会的胜利宣言吗!Miller市长已经原形毕露地完全倒向了工会!毕竟工会是他的强大后盾。有房的主儿们,等着加地税吧!
      • 明年加垃圾转换税没商量!
      • I would do whatever I can to remind people what David Miller and his councillor did in the coming Toronot election. We cannot tolerate any more! It is our money! It is our election and we should vote for a mayor who would work for us!
        Instead of the union!
        • what can you do? impeach david miller? but how?
          • Toronto is going to have another election; and I would remind my neighbourhood, my colleague and even Rolians on what we went through this summer. We would have to vote for people who work for Torontonians; rather than union.
            • we do need a mayor against union
              • and you would have your chance next year. And I would remind every Rolian who lives in Toronto what we experienced this summer. I personally suggest to outsource every non core city services to private companies.
not just garbage collection! How about library? Community Center? Garden? If we can have same services for half the cost, why can't we save the money and reinvest to provide more and better services.

      Release the Agreement

As a taxpayer, i want to see what the tentative agreement is now before we have to swallow it as a fait accompli. Then I can call my councillor and register my support or opposition. I want to reserve judgement until I see the terms of the agreement but if the city allows bankable sick days to continue then I will donate to, volunteer for and vote for the candidate that promises to eliminate this disgusting travesty.

      Where are the details?

Do they get to keep their banked sick days? If so, I actually feel sorry for the people of Toronto who will continue to pay for this. This smells of 'giving in' to a pathetic union. What a great example to younger people. Throw a tantrum and walk away and you get what you want. Miller just signed his political death certificate.
