On Sunday, September 27, 2009 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, an event called the“60th Anniversary of the founding of the Peoples Republic of China” will occur. The purpose of the event is to “celebrate the 60th Anniversary and Founding of the Peoples Republic of China”. Estimated attendance for this event is 3000-5000 people.
The following roadways will be closed to vehicular traffic from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm. The roads will reopen as the parade passes through each point.
-South on Queen’s Park Crescent from Wellesley Street to College Street.
-West on College Street to Spadina Avenue.
-South on Spadina Avenue to Dundas Street West.
-East on Dundas Street West to Yonge Street and onto Yonge-Dundas.
