I've got the camera in the store and will return the one that's gonna be sent to me. By the way, the memory card you mentioned cannot be used for digital videos. So I purchased another 8G card for $30.

indoor or outdoor? outdoor 18-55 should be fine, indoor you might need a prime lens since there might not be enough light. you might need a f2.8 zoom lens if you don't want to switch lens.
