I want to thank everyone here for the valuable information. I got the TN visa and also TD visas for the family. The whole process lasted less than 10 minutes and one of the officers started talking to me in Chinese.

I thought he learned a few words from somewhere but eventually I realized he has some Chinese gene in him. Both my wife and myself could not identify a tiny bit of Chinese from him. What a small world !

Speaking of the TN visa letter, I bought an application kit from an on-line firm. So, I used it as a template and came up with a draft. Surprisingly, the hiring company did not even change a word and just put a signature on it. If anybody here needs it, drop me a line and I can sent it to you for a small fee.

We are leaving for Austin in about a week. So, keep in touch everybody and hope the American dream is what we have been looking for...
