本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛For the celebration of Valentine's day, there was a contest in Vaughan Citizen newspaper. Just for fun I submit my little story and was surprised to win the 2nd price :-)
Here is the story:
My husband and I celebrated our ten year anniversary last year. But even after all these years, it still amazes me how we met each other about twelve years ago.
My husband and I used to study in the same university for 3 years but in different departments. However, we did not meet even once until after he went to the graduate school at another university.
We met each other because of a pager (by the way, we still have this pager with us today).
He was selling his pager and I happened to be the buyer. There were still some pagings for him for a while, so I called him quite a few times to relay information. One day he called me and told me that he would like to take me out for lunch to thank me. That was just the beginning...
