it is the best choice for you in the long run.
Depending on you are with L1A or L1B. L1B give you no short cut,timewise, for the GC. you may still have to wait for years to get GC for L1B.

Chinese passport and L1 give you no flexibility in terms of job changing.

With canada passport, you can easily get TN by mail-in application within US if you have to change the job. Also you do not have to be limited by the Canada PR rule.

Compare with Chinese, US and Canada passport, I would say Canada passport are far more valuable than any of them for the commons.

I have some coworkers are canadian with US passport with US born kids. almost all of them applied Canadian passport for their kids lately.

      如果时间来得及,你最好是明天去照加拿大护照照片,把申请护照的表格(邮局就有)能填的内容填好,材料准备好,世家堡在四楼宣誓后立即奔2楼加急申请护照,划信用卡交费,第二天可取(过去),然后办理L1签证,加拿大护照L1签证在边境办理,无须预约去使领馆.

      加拿大护照的绝大多数类别美国签证都在边境办理,无须去美国使领馆.
