悲愤的问大家: H1B minimum salary?
各位好, 我算是体会到资本主义剥削人的本质了. 我在一个小破公司累死累活白干了四个月,(我正准备走人了) 现在他们想给我办H1B. 提出的工资是$6.75一个小时, 一月才$1270, 依据是法定的minimum salary. 我心里气愤不已, 表面是还是礼貌的告诉他们H1B有一个minimum salary requirment. 他们就问我是多少, 可不可以用公司的股份(没上市)抵. 我在网上搜了一把, 没发现确切的信息, 才上来向大家请教. 我在美国读了一个计算机硕士, 有几个月工作经验. 干的活programmer /software developer, 用JAVA.

      the salary a h1-b holder gets should be comparable to the salary paid to a native american who is holding the same position. this is by law not to let employers to use low salary to attract foreign workers. you should find out the market price of your position and that is the minimum to go. otherwise, the NIS will not approve your case. good luck.
