do you have any firewall installed or running eDonkey behind any hub/switch? You may have the so called low-ID problem. Test your connection using the URL here.

You'd better connect to the internet directly. It's pretty simple:
1. click connect (the green button)
2. choose the type of file you want to download, like "Video"
3. input the name (star wars)
4. click Submit
5. choose one from the returned list on the right panel
6. click download
7. if no file found, click "extend search"

That's it!
