Problem with my townhouse.just bought a townhouse, 27 years old, after I moved in, I always hear a sound like water dropping, it seems come from the inside of the wall in the upstairs washroom, but I can not see any water spot. what's the problem? when I stop using water, after several hours, there is no sound.
This is really boring! I can not sleep? who has the experience? Thanks a lot!

We got the same problem. I only found it recently. our townhouse was bought in 1999. we bought it new. Please keep me posted if you have a answer. Thanks!

The answer isI got the answer from a home inspector, spent 50$, the sound is from the pipe, (hot water or heating) because the temperature change, there is friction with wood.

可能是抽水马桶放水, 需要换胶皮塞子了胶皮塞子老化不严了, 就会隔段时间自己放水, 或慢慢漏水.
胶皮塞子WAL-MART这种店就有卖的, 很容易换.
