I don't think it is Ruo Zhi because we don't know what you were asking. I assume that you have a legal status in US but a PR. You can't enter Canada without a canadian visa. Make sure...you have a valid Canadian visa to stay in Canada. You also need to hold a valid re-entry document to get back to US. I think you only have to do a American Yin Min Jian AFTER you have a PR status. 183days/year, for 5 years to apply for citizenship. Or just keep PR status as long as you keep staying in US 183days/year. Correct me if I am wrong.

There is only "marriage certificate", no "American" or "Canaidan" certificate. Be very careful about immigration things. Before you step on Canada, you should know how you get back to US already.

It is the same for an immigration application among Canada and US. Once you apply for an immigration, you will have a "changing status", this allows you to legally stay in Canada until you receive a decision. However, you still need to make sure that you have a "Advance Parole" with you when you are staying in Canada. Also you need in mind that when you deal with the immigration, you need to be careful because you might have applied your American immigration "inside US".
Good luck.
