枫下茶话 / 社会 / 实在受不了了,坐Barrie那条线go train的三国女,一国男们,拜托你们说话小声点,大清早的,好多人都想睡觉呢。尤其是那个穿白色羽绒服的女的,声音又大又尖又刺耳,还带很重的口间,听着实在难受。我带着耳机都挡不住,已经好几天早上没睡觉了。

然后,你把”那么多车厢楼主专门和她们坐一起“比喻成”路上有滩够屎你一定要上去踩一脚“,不就是把”在公共场合大声说话“比喻成”狗屎“吗?鉴于前一段落的分析,你不是把自己也比喻成狗屎了吗?

至少,我家老人说他们经常在国内有人给他们让,当然也不是每次都那么绝对。至少,每个社会有自己的缺点,要承认,但不能把缺点当优点来推崇吧

是啊,西方人自私冷漠,在有些人眼里倒是变成这里的国情习惯,甚至是优点点了? 我不说国内现在人人都是雷锋,人人都见义勇为,现在的国内社会也很多见死不救等收尸要价钱的。我们不管国家或学校那里是如何灌输道德课,至少,大多数孩子从小从父母那里得到的基本道德教训,基本应该是要乐于助人,尊长爱幼的吧?

原来我经常看到让座的, 虽然现在很少坐公车了. 原来我怀孕时最后几个月不敢开车坐TTC, 几乎每天都有人让座, 我一次没买过帐. 一次我坐地铁, 刚坐稳一个2,3岁的小女孩站到我身边, 我想让, 母亲坚决不同意, 她站着快乐得很. 我老公和大女每次坐地铁都不喜欢坐, 除非实在太空

不是你这样理解的. 我认为让个座没必要上升到公德美徳的高度, 这是举手之劳, 需要帮助的, 自然而然有人会让. 真正要公德就不要抢位子, 谁先到谁先上, 谁先上谁先坐.如果觉得年纪大点, 挺着大肚子大家都得给你让座, 那是自己的观念问题. 只要是健康人, 人人平等, 无男女老少之分.
在这让座得讲究方法, 尊重第一, 我让座是这么说的: do you want to sit down? 别人也是这样问我的. 不是理直气壮地认为别人一定要接受你的好意还要感激你, 因为你在做好事.
到了要拐个棍子走路的地步没必要可怜到去挤公车, 有残疾人专用车, 直接上门接送, 就比普通车票贵一点而已. 无经济负担能力的政府会补助.

每辆车都有老弱病残专座, 有这些人在时, 那些坐那些位子的不空出来就说不过去了, 人家坐不坐是另一回事. 曾经见过一超胖子, 一上车就说 I need 2 seats. 他边上两排的人同时起立

我刚来加拿大的时候曾经在地铁上给一个白人老太太让过座, 她怒目瞪了半天就是不坐, 弄的很尴尬,可能她认为自己不老, 不需要别人让座, 那是瞧不起她. 后来我就注意一下TTC上别人是怎么让座的,发现这里的年轻人基本上见老人过来,就自己站起来往后走, 不说话,象是要下车的样子, 其实是站到后面去了, 老人也就自然坐下了, 是习俗问题. 有的老外会问一下, "Do you want to sit here?", 如果对方说:Thank you! 就站起来让给他/她, 但更普遍的是前者.

在公共场所, 容忍是唯一的办法, 忍不了就躲着, 要求别人按你的方式做, 好象已经越界了. GO TRAIN不知道, BUS, 地铁,偶尔乘乘, 特别是夏天, 什么体味都有, 难道还得规定必须确定身上无味才能上车吗? 这就是为什么北美想控制车数量都不行, 宁愿开车也不去挤不去闻不去忍.

既然叫公德, 这个公要看是什么社会群什么样的标准. 国内公认的公德别国人不以为然, 这里的公德, 国人也经常不认同甚至觉得荒谬. 这就是respect & tolerance在加国的重要性. 对于如何维持社会公德, 就更有差距了. 不是有理就有权力说要求别人怎么做. 比如说在图书馆大声喧哗.即使图书馆明文规定这么写着: 不许大声喧哗, 你如果看到有人在喧哗, , 不代表你就有权力理直气壮地叫别人别说话, 只有图书馆工作人员才有这权力.

更不同意了,这不但是权力而且是义务。我认为见到有人做违反公约的事情,一个好的公民有义务提醒他们。就是因为太多人象你这样“不关已事,高高挂起”的态度,那些不顾社会公德的人更加肆无忌惮。如果多一些人提醒他们,就少一些人这样做。至于respect 和tolerance,那完全是两码事,那是对不同文化。比如有人一上车一身咖喱味,我决不会说什么。但如果有人说我就愿意shoplift,你要respect and tolerance我, 你认为这make sense吗?go train上明文说了不要大声说话,不遵守就是违反公约,是不尊重别人。
