枫下茶话 / 社会 / Too Asian 最生气是谁?是那些二三代的香蕉人,某人在Macleans网站上的留言:It's saddening and ironic to sometimes feel like you've been somewhat denied entry to the only "nationality" you can identify with, where is my place in my own society?

solely identify with the Canadian culture i was raised with - the Eurocentric version - but being of Asian descent i sometimes feel unaccepted by my own culture - but only from strangers know don't know me.文中的"my own culture " 指的是the Eurocentric version 的加拿大CULTURE.

对,he feels he is under so-called friendly fire sometimes, I can understand his pain. Based on his sole experience, Canada so far is still a Exclusive country, i.e, "that being Caucasian is the basis of what makes a "Canadian".

it takes generations to bridge the gap.. it is also our own responsibility to move this society forward, make it more inclusive that celebrates the acceptance of every culture within it..we honor our own origin, we share a common value system, we stand firm on our right, we die hard to protect it from any forms of extremists..
