I saw that you posted series conversations between you and your friend to help identify and improve our pronunciation, this was a really good try, but I only opened the first one. The reason is:I don’t think it is really helpful without live voice, as you only try to explain the pronunciation problems on the paper.

First of all, thank you so much for your articles. Also, I totally agree with you that 音频，其实帮助也会极其有限. I, myself have this experience before.In some cases, I can vaguely hear there is something different in my pronouceation, but I couldn't telll exactly where. Of course, I don't know how to change/improve either. My husband doesn't understand this. In his view, you hear it and you follow it. It is that simple. It is NOT. I seriously consder getting prefessional help. Do you have any suggestion on that?

"b，p，k，g之类的都是停止音", Is "停止音" same meaning as "暴破音"? Are you trying to emphasize to pronouce these accurately, we need "停止" instead of hold these sounds longer? Please illustrate further. Thanks.

"一个停止辅音的后边明明没有跟着元音，也就是应该停止了，结果他没停止，拖泥带水，好象加了个元音" I had this problem. Now the problem solved. :-) most time. My 2 cents, this 拖泥带水 sometimes is associated with chinese translation. e.g＂贝克汉亩＂(sorry, the rolia onlin PinYin only showed like this), you know, that soccer star, is pronounced inccorrectly, as our chinese folks follow the translation sound.
